Loreto
From the distance Loreto seem to have a form of a sanctuary with its towers and city walls from the 16th c., built around the Sanctuary of the House of Nazareth which, according to the tradition, was placed to this location by angels in 1294. It become soon a centre of culture and pilgrimage.
